Hello, what’s new? I’m Javier Robles, from Y4A of Secondary School; and, as you can see above, today we will talk about endurance referring to aerobic and anaerobic exercises. Most times people read magazines articles concerning to these two sorts of endurance, but they aren’t actually able to distinguish them at all. This video deals just with that point. Among other subjects, the man teaches us the basic dissimilitude between both endurance types, which is the following: - Aerobic endurance: includes low or medium intensity exercises of large length. In addition, the body needs oxygen. - Anaerobic endurance: includes high intensity exercises of brief duration. It doesn’t need oxygen. Besides of it, we also identify some examples of each one. While running, walking or swimming are all aerobic exercises instances, an example of anaerobic endurance could be weightlifting. Certain aerobic endurance benefits are not only the progresses in respiratory, cardiovascular or circulatory systems, but also the reduction of cholesterol levels as well as the improvements of the mood and sleep. On the other hand, the anaerobic endurance helps our body too. In fact, it is utterly beneficial for both muscular and skeletal systems. To sum up, it’s essential to keep in mind that we should alternate either endurance types when practicing sport in order to carry out a suitable training. However, it is true that the election of whether one or the other depends on our purpose. For the moment, this is all. See you the next time!
