  1. The reason why I have decided to choose this video about warming up , is because when someone says :What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear Physical Activity?
Immediately you think about sports , specially football and basketball. But you don´t think about the most important thing , the warm up .
Warming up before and after doing exercise can be just as important as the exercise.
The video starts talking about the main goals of warming up. Increase blood flow to the muscles and decrease muscle stiffness, this means that you are preparing your joints , your body in general, for something that implicates physical activity.
Later it talks about the benefits . Before you have seen this video you know the fist benefit. If you warm up you have less probabilities to be injured.
It prevents overheating and it also increase range of motion.
A normal warm up takes about 10-15 minutes.
But what about Cool Down? What are its goals?
It returns the body´s systems to pre-exercise conditions, it returns our heart beat. This is like the exercises we have done in class , we start running for five minutes , and when we stopped the take our pulse and it is very high , and when we cool down , our rate decrease. It is the same with the muscle temperature , we start colder , and when we finish our temperature is very high , so cooling down get back our normal temperature , the same with the breathing rate
It has benefits because for example it prevents the accumulation of blood .
We have to remember that before we are going to do some exercise we need to stretch our muscles .
In my opinion I think that Warming up and cooling down is underrated , we don´t think about the consequences of not warming up .
