I decided to put this video because I really enjoy in this assessment because I think basketball is a very interesting sport because it combines the four types of the basic physical capacities: speed, endurance,strenght, flexibility and the most important thing, fun with your partners.
+ Speed: not only physical speed, also mental because if there isn´t mental speed no one of the baskets can be scored. And physical speed of course because is a very fast sport and you have to run to the one side of the court to the other side in a very short period of time.
+ Endurance: like in all the sports endurance is very important and more in a professional way. In basketball is as important as speed because you have to endure all the match in a very high level if you want to win the match.
+ Strenght: because of the faults you have to stay strong. But I think that strength is not as important as speed and endurance because I saw basketball players that there are not very strong and can handle the ball much better tan the strongest players.
+ Flexibility: I think is important in basketball when you have to strecht the arm to catch the rebounds and when you have to dodge the blockages.
But I think that the most important thing is fun and basketball has it because if there isn´t fun the player is going to get tired quickly.
