The reason I take this video is because I like playing basketball, and I think that the defence is an aspect that hasn't been given all the importance it needs, as a player I think that when people play without a coach the only shoot a lot and a little bounce, but they don't usually defend, I think is a very important skill, the video show some tips that are, mainly that you mustn't have a rigid position beacause a atacker could run faster, that you have to play with intelligence, it says that phisic doesn't matter but I think that having a good endurance with rithm changes is esential in basket.
I have decided to comment on this video because although offense is very important in basketball, the baskets you prevent the opposing team from scoring will be as if you had scored them, and in the long run that will decide the game. In the video he talks about the most important technique in defense, the sliding, and how to master it and learn when to do it and when not to do it. It also talks about how to follow the opponent's game, to try to predict their movements, not only looking at the opponent you must defend, but also looking at everyone else to know who they will pass to. I think it is a good video, as it explains everything well with examples, but I think he could have talk about more points.
