Hello , my name is Daniela and i have choose this video because I think is very curious how is the train of the people that is going to participe in Iron mans or half Iron mans that is a sport race in wich you have 4 km swimming , 180 km cycling and 42 km running besides you have to complete in less than 17 hours. This event is psychologically very hard so it requires planning , dedication and preparation. In this video we can see that the averange preparation is about 12 hours per week alternating cycling , running and swimming in the day. In conclusion if you whant to participate in this event you have to be well prepared physically and psychologically and with a good coach who has been preparing you for a long time.
Hello, my name is Paula and I chose this video to comment on because I find it fascinating to learn about the training process of those who prepare to participate in an Ironman or Half Ironman.
In my opinion, I think you have to be very prepared to swim 4 km, cycle 180 km and run 42 km, all in less than 17 hours.
For me it would be a mental challenge that requires not only physical strength but also psychological resistance. You have to train 12 hours a week, which not many people would do, in which you have to combine the 3 main figures.
Therefore, as you say, it is essential to be well prepared both physically and mentally, and it is essential to have an expert coach to guide you through the long and demanding preparation process.
Hi Daniela, is nice to see your post of how to train for your first half iron man. It's so interesting to see how this incredible people train to do competitions like this. This type of activities require a los of endurance and are so complicated to do, that's way people need to train a lot to can at least do part of that. So thanks you very much for post this video and let us know this type of training.
