I decided to write about the medicine ball , because , when we were in our P.E lessons practicing with it , we didn't´t do at a correct way , so this video explains some ways to throw the ball correctly. When we start practicing with the medicine ball we have to keep in mind our capacities , because we could hurt ourselves. The video says that the medicine ball will definitely develop some upper body strength , but you can also work on that specific movement pattern that is so important for the shot put. The ball of the video is about 4 kilo, but you can use a 5 or 6 kilo ball , but for beginners they can start as light as a one kilo. You could play it on your own , you only need a wall , but also you can play it with someone , like doing basketball chest passes with inside-out movements.
Hi Carmen, I liked a lot your post and your video. In my opinion is really important to strength before and after train with the medicine ball, because if we don't do it we can hurt ourselves and it will be dangerous. It's really interesting all that the video explains and talks about, that way we can learn more about the medicine ball and if we follow the steps that the video said we can improve our marks in that physical fitness activity. I also liked a lot how they explain the different ways to throw the ball correctly, like you said, I also didn't do it in a correct form. Great post!!
