Hello, my name is Ángela and I’m going to comment the video I chose for this assessment. First of all, I chose this video because I think it´s linked to the subject of this term, which is: gymnastic skills. This is because it’s about a girl named Elena that competed professionally and was the second best worldwide. But his coach wanted her to be the number one. Elena had severe injuries, but he kept wanting Elena to compete. The kid warned her coach that she wasn’t healthy enough to compete yet, and in one of the trainings she landed in her chin and snapped her spine. Her first thought was, “thank god I’m not competing.”
What I found interesting of this video is that it’s really reflecting that safety and personal health is the first thing to worry about. Its brutal seeing how Elena died then for those injuries.
