The rules of football

  1. Hello I’m Maria Torices from San Gregorio school.
In this third assesment we were practicing two different things. First, speed; how to run more fast, and more different methods. But, also, we practice football, so I decide to choose a video about it.
This video shows a begginner explanation of different methods of football, that I think that it’s very important to know about some of them, for example, we calle in Spain, fútbol; and in North America, soccer. Also he say that there are 11 players on the peach, but in total there are 18 players. The objetive of the game it’s to score more goals that the other team. In football, you cannot touch the ball with the arms, or the hands. The yellow card means warning, and the red card, sent off, and two yellow cards, mean a red card. If you want to know more, you have to play the video! So you can learn about fouls, offside rule, throw ins, corner kicks, penalty kicks, free kicks, goals.. I hope you understand the things that I try to explain, and I hope also you like it. Bye!

  2. Hi Maria! My name it's Alaitz Gonzalez and I decided to make a comment of this video because my comment and my video is about speed. This video is very interesting because it explains
    all the basic football rules.
From there I was able to obtain the following conclusions:
A football match is played by two teams, with each allowed no more than 11 players on the field at any one time, one of whom is a goalkeeper.
A match is played in two 45 minute halves.
The game begins with the toss of a coin, and the winning captain decides which goal to defend or to take the first kick off.
All players must use their feet head or chest to play the ball. Only the goalkeeper is allowed to use their hands, and only within their designated goal area.
The aim of the game is to score a goal, which is achieved by kicking or heading the ball into the opposition team's goal.
If the ball touches or crosses the side line, it is thrown back in by the team that was not the last to touch the ball.
The game is controlled by a central referee, and two linesmen. They award free kicks and penalties when rules are broken. For continual breaking of rules or for a bad foul, the player may be sent off.
Thank you very much for video!
    Bye.
