10 flexibility tests

2 comentarios:

  1. Hi, I am Belén Ruiz from 4 year ESO, and the video I am going to describe, talks about different flexibility tests.
These tests are not a competition; they are only to check our range of flexibility.
    - The first test she describes, is related to the calves’ flexibility. It consists on tighten one knee until it reaches de wall, while the other leg is on the back side.
    - The second test is the hamstrings flexibility. In this one you must seat on the floor and move a pen as far as you are able to. This test reminds me the sit and reach test that we have done in class.
    - The third test is the quad flexibility. Here you have to bend one knee again and push it to your butt.
    - In the fourth one, hip flexor flexibility, you should be in a box or a bench, pushing one knee to your chest and trying to line up the other leg with your head.
    - The adductor range is the fifth one. Now, you have to lie down in the floor, with on leg next to the wall and the other opened as much as you can.
    - The sixth test is the “Pancake” flexibility. In this one you have to open your legs as much as you can and then push your body down, stretching your arms to move a pen as far as you are able to.
    - In the seventh one, although there are two parts, it is the same exercise, where you have to bend and extend your leg up for 3 seconds.
    - In the eighth one, the Lat flexibility, you have to lie down and extend your arms with the hands together, trying to push them backwards.
    - The ninth one also has two parts, where you are going to use the chest and shoulders, to improve the arms flexibility.
    - The number ten is about internal and external rotation of shoulders. Here you must put one arm up and the other down with your hands in the back trying to hold each other.
    That is all. Bye.

  2. Hi, what’s up? I’m Javier Robles from 4th year ESO.
Firstly, I want to say why I have chosen this video from my classmate Belén.
In my opinion, it’s quite different from the other works, especially because of the various and suitable flexibility exercises it shows us.
Even though they are enough difficult, at least for me, I truly believe they can be really useful for anyone who wants to start practicing flexibility.
I may state that I was actually surprised when I saw the girl stretching herself with the legs opened. It was amazing! I could never do that!
All these activities will help us being more flexible, however, it’s essential to keep in mind that we shouldn’t suffer any pain practicing them. It’s just a way of training, and not a competition!
To sum up, I think it has been a worthwhile video, due to the fact that can teach, in a simple method, how to get started in the flexibility realm.
I hope this comment will be helpful for someone.
    See you soon!
