Endurance training for basket players

  1. In this video it said that there are people who try to train resistance with athletic training, but that is not good for basket players. One of the activities that we can do to train would be movement and shooting, in which it will help the player to have base resistance and to work the shot.
    In this exercise you can do different series, this video tells you to do 3 series of 5 minutes, resting 2 minutes between series shooting free throws.
    You can do these workouts in summer for not to lose the resistance you had from the previous season and you can practice it alone or with a partner or friend.

  2. In this video I have learnt that when we train to play a sport is good to change the intensity, run slow first, and quickly next, to simulate a real action in a match. Also is good to train with other partners of the team, or one friend to practice all types of characteristics requested by the sport. The things we practice they must be associated to be prepared, in the example of basketball, is not necessary to run a lot of distance, but is good to have a good endurance. To practice throw, passes… it isn’t needed endurance, but we have to improve it.

  3. He says that is good train the resistance in the summer to make it easier for us to start training or playing matches after the summer. He says athlete training can't be applied for the basketball players. We have to start running and throwing baskets so you help the player improve his endurance and his basket shot, the race must be moderate and continuous. It show you examples such as throwing baskets from various points, all the time running and when you fail to run to the free throw line and throw to the basket. You can also do it with a partner and that's how you try to get over it and do it better

  4. This video shows a basketball endurance training. In this training races are combined with shots to the basket.
    I think that this activity is good to prepare yourself to do basketball competitions.
    Also I think that is a very good idea that when fail the shot, you have to go to the midfield line, because the people that is doing this training will try harder to make a good shot and they will improve their technique little by little.
    The video also says that you can do this exercise in pairs. That is a good idea because in that way it will be more fun and it will improve the results.
