Hello my name is Alba and I have choosen this video because I think it is so important to analyze the things that we are not doing well and this video explains five of the most comon errors in the swimming speed. One of the most important thing to be faster is the tecnic and in the video is explained how we have to move our body and turn it correctly. For example a comon error is to push the water bad so in the video is explained how to do it correctly. I think that is a very useful video for swimmers.
Hello, my name is Diego de la Fuente and I am going to briefly explain a video of a colleague, the video explains the 5 common mistakes in swimming that make you lose speed, the most common is breathing because most people stick their heads out of the water when swimming and what you have to do is rotate your head slowly taking out only one eye on each side, another is that they move their arms very quickly and the body is not rotated to grab more water and less energy is spent, another is that when they do the push under water the arms are straight and it's not right, they have to be bent to grab more water, and the most important thing is that there are swimmers who don't move their legs and the idea is to keep a constant kick so you can stay horizontal, I hope that has served you something, until next time
The video that I have chosen is this one of my partner Alba. What has caught my attention is that it is like improving speed when swimming, since when I hear “speed” I imagine only running and it is not like that. In the video he does not give tricks to swim faster, he explains mistakes to avoid because they make you go slower. The first is that you do not have to take your head completely out of the water, rotating it is enough for breathing. Another mistake is to move your arms too fast, by rotating your body you move more water and therefore you go faster. Do not carry your arms straight, it is better to bend them. Not moving your feet makes your body sink and you don't go fast. Looking straight ahead is also a mistake, it makes you slow down because of the resistance against the water.
