Speed training drills

  1. Hi, I'm Lucía González from 4ºB and I've chosen this video that gives a series of tricks to improve running speed.
    He explains that there are many types of exercises to improve speed depending on the person, but he talks about the best known.
    These exercises are called: "High knee" consists of running slowly raising the knees first one and then the other, it helps to make the biggest step. “Butt kick” when running the legs are raised with the heel up, it is used to make the return to the normal position of the leg faster. Finally, "A major" is a jump to increase the stride.
    The video is very good as it explains each exercise with images and makes it easier to understand
